COMMON MEDIA TYPES
Cellulose
The most common media type in hydraulic applications. The twisted natural fibers are more irregular than synthetic media but have greater dirt-holding capacity.
Synthetic/Glass
These man-made glass fibers are the most uniform in shape and size. This creates the least possible resistance to flow and provides improved efficiency over traditional cellulose media.
Blended
Incorporating a careful blend of cellulose and synthetic fibers, blended media alows for improved effiency whilst maximizing dirt-holding capacity.
